A film secretly shot by a guard at a prison in Zimbabwe offers new evidence of rigged votes for President Robert Mugabe in last month's election. The guard recorded the film with a secret camera provided by Britain's Guardian Films. He smuggled it out of the country when he fled with his family. The guard, Shepherd Yuda, says he hopes the film will draw more attention to the violence and corruption that surrounded the poll. |

Footage of the dramatic release of the 14 FARC rebel hostages in Colombia. The Colombian government unveiled the video they filmed of the rescue operation that freed French-Colombian politician Ingrid Betancourt, three U.S. contractors and 11 Colombian soldiers and police officers. The video was taken by the military intelligence officers who carried out the operation which relied on trickery against the 4-decade-old FARC (Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia) guerrilla group. |
